About the PositionThis position is for a classroom teacher working with Year 9 and Year 10 students within a supportive, team-based learning environment. Teaching is shared across a small team, with curriculum delivery spanning English, Literacy, Mathematics, Health and Wellbeing, and future-focused learning. The role requires an educator who can build strong relationships, maintain calm and consistent classroom routines, and contribute to a collective approach to student learning and wellbeing. The position is open to graduate through to experienced teachers.
Skills and Responsibilities-
Deliver curriculum-aligned learning in collaboration with a teaching team across shared subject areas.

Establish calm, structured classroom environments that support engagement and positive behaviour.

Build respectful, trusting relationships with students, colleagues, parents, families, and the wider community.

Support the wellbeing and safety of students through consistent routines and safeguarding practices.

Provide clear, timely feedback to support student learning and progress.
- Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain registration with the Northern Territory Teacher Registration Board.
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
