About the Position

This full-time position will involve teaching Middle School Commerce subjects including Business, Accounting and Economics, and may also include VM Literacy. The role is offered as an initial six-month contract commencing Term 3, 2026, with a strong likelihood of extension into 2027. The successful teacher will deliver engaging and practical learning experiences that support students to develop financial literacy, enterprise skills and strong communication capabilities.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver Commerce and/or VM Literacy curriculum aligned with Victorian curriculum requirements
• Uphold safeguarding practices and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding learning progress
• Collaborate with teaching teams to plan curriculum and support student outcomes
• Contribute to leadership and continuous improvement within the Commerce and VM programs

Requirements Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT Teacher Registration.

Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
