About the Position
This full-time, ongoing position will commence in Term 1, 2026, teaching Science across Years 7–10, with a focus on either VCE Physics or VCE Chemistry. The successful candidate will bring subject expertise, enthusiasm for innovative learning, and a commitment to engaging students in practical, inquiry-based science education.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Teach Science across Years 7–10, specialising in VCE Physics or VCE Chemistry.

  • Develop engaging, hands-on lessons that promote curiosity and critical thinking.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver curriculum-aligned programs.

  • Contribute to co-curricular and pastoral initiatives within the school community.

  • Uphold the Catholic values and ethos of the college.

Requirements

  • Current VIT registration (or eligibility to obtain).

  • Demonstrated experience teaching senior Physics and/or Chemistry.

  • Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice.
  • Complete HARKE's onboarding and compliance for safeguarding, including 3 senior professional references
