About the PositionAn exciting opportunity is available for a passionate and adaptable Secondary Teacher to join a dedicated teaching team from Term 1, 2027. This position involves working with students approximately 13 to 18 years of age across a cross-curricular program, delivering engaging and meaningful learning experiences that respond to the diverse needs of students.
Working within a small school environment, the successful applicant will build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues while contributing to a supportive and culturally respectful learning community. Educators are encouraged to be flexible, creative and collaborative, with a genuine commitment to improving educational outcomes for young people.
Skills and Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging cross-curricular learning programs that support student growth and achievement.
- Foster a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment while maintaining a strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
- Build positive relationships with students, families, Indigenous educators and the wider school community through purposeful communication.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop learning programs, share best practice and contribute to whole-school improvement.
- Demonstrate leadership through professionalism, flexibility, initiative and active participation in school and community life.
- Teaching Registration: Hold or be eligible to obtain Northern Territory Teacher Registration (TRB NT).
- Work Rights: Full Australian working rights are required.
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE Recruitment's safeguarding and onboarding requirements.
