About the Role

This full-time role involves teaching a combination of Mathematics and Science across Years 7–12 from Term 1, 2026. The college welcomes applications from teachers confident teaching up to Year 10 as well as those with experience teaching through to Year 12. The successful educator will join a dedicated STEM faculty that prioritises engaging, inquiry-based learning and works collaboratively to ensure consistent, high-quality curriculum delivery.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver curriculum-aligned Maths and Science programs across junior and/or senior year levels

  • Support student learning through clear communication, structured instruction, and evidence-informed practice

  • Contribute to a safe, supportive environment aligned with safeguarding expectations

  • Work collaboratively within Maths and Science teams to enhance planning and assessment

  • Engage in co-curricular or faculty initiatives that strengthen STEM learning


Requirements

  • Current or eligibility for VIT registration

  • Full Australian working rights

  • Two referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
