About the Position

The school is seeking a full-time Mathematics and Science Teacher to commence in Term 1, 2026. This teacher will work with 3 x Y7-9 Maths and 2 x Y7-9 Science in the first year. There is scope to move into senior in 2027, but for the first year it will be a Junior load.

The successful candidate will have strong subject expertise, engaging pedagogy, and the ability to inspire student confidence and achievement in Mathematics across secondary year levels.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Teach Mathematics across secondary year levels, including VCE if required

  • Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that promote critical thinking

  • Foster a safe, inclusive classroom culture that supports all learners

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and develop curriculum

  • Contribute to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the school

Requirements
  • Registration: Must hold or be eligible for VIT registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia

  • Safeguarding: Provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process
