About the Position
This ongoing role involves teaching Humanities across the secondary years, with flexibility around year levels depending on experience. The school is open to educators with experience up to Year 10 and or Year 12 and is willing to balance teaching loads accordingly. The role also includes teaching Religious Education in Years 7 and 8, requiring confidence in delivering RE within a Catholic school context.
• Deliver curriculum-aligned Humanities programs across the secondary years
• Teach Religious Education to Years 7 and 8 in line with Catholic education frameworks
• Uphold safeguarding and child-safe standards in all professional practice
• Communicate clearly and professionally with students, families, and colleagues
• Collaborate within faculty teams and contribute to whole-school initiatives
Requirements
• VIT registration or eligibility to obtain
• Full working rights in Australia
• Confidence teaching Religious Education within a Catholic setting
• Two professional referees and completion of HARKE safeguarding steps
