About the Position
This is a unique full-time opportunity for a teacher who can combine French with Mathematics and/or Science across Years 7–9.
Approximately 0.5 of the teaching load will consist of Years 7–9 French, with the remaining load comprising Years 7–9 Mathematics and Science.
There is also flexibility for an experienced teacher to take on VCE Mathematics and/or Science classes, depending on their background, interests and teaching methods.
Graduate and experienced teachers with the appropriate teaching methods are encouraged to apply.
Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and well-structured French, Mathematics and Science lessons across Years 7–9.

Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing and classroom practice.

Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding learning and progress.

Collaborate with teaching teams to support curriculum planning, assessment and continuous improvement.

Contribute positively to the broader school community and, where experienced, senior secondary curriculum delivery.
Requirements

Registration with, or eligibility for registration with, the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).

Appropriate teaching qualifications and demonstrated capability to teach French alongside Mathematics and/or Science.

Full Australian work rights.

Ability to provide two professional referees and complete HARKE’s safeguarding and onboarding requirements.
