About the Position
The College is seeking a skilled and passionate Food Technology Teacher to teach across Years 7–12. The successful candidate will deliver practical and theoretical classes, inspiring students to develop skills in food preparation, nutrition, and design. This role is well suited to a creative educator who values hands-on learning and can bring innovation to Food Technology programs.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Teach Food Technology across Years 7–12.

• Develop engaging and practical units of work that promote creativity and applied learning.

• Ensure safe use of kitchen facilities and model best practice in food safety.

• Collaborate with colleagues to refine curriculum and share innovative practice.

• Participate in extracurricular and whole-school activities.

Requirements

• Registration: Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or eligibility.

• Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia.

• Safeguarding: Two current referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding process.
