About the Role
This full-time role involves teaching English across Years 7–12, contributing to a dynamic English faculty that values strong pedagogy, clear communication, and purposeful learning experiences. The successful teacher will support students in developing critical thinking, analytical writing, and a deep appreciation for literature and language.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Teach English across Years 7–12 using structured, curriculum-aligned approaches

  • Foster literacy growth and analytical thinking through engaging, evidence-based instruction

  • Maintain high standards of student wellbeing, behaviour, and classroom culture

  • Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum planning, assessment, and moderation

  • Contribute to school events, co-curricular programs, and community initiatives

Requirements

  • Current or eligibility for VIT registration

  • Full Australian work rights

  • Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
