About the Position

This full-time role is ideal for a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher with expertise in Chemistry, Psychology, and Science . The position involves teaching across multiple year levels, including Year 8 Science, within a collaborative and professional team that values inquiry-based learning and student engagement.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Teach Chemistry, Psychology, and Science across a range of secondary year levels

  • Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that promote curiosity and critical thinking

  • Assess and report on student learning, providing timely and constructive feedback

  • Contribute to faculty initiatives and broader school programs

  • Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and families to support a positive learning culture

Requirements

  • Registration: Must hold or be eligible to obtain NT Teacher Registration Board registration (TRB NT)

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
