About the Role
This full-time position involves teaching Arabic and Qur’an across Years 7–12. The role suits a teacher who brings strong language expertise, confidence in delivering faith-based curriculum, and a commitment to student engagement. You’ll join a dedicated team that values purposeful instruction, respectful relationships, and the integration of faith and learning.
 

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Teach Arabic and Qur’an across Years 7–12 with clear, structured, curriculum-aligned delivery

  • Promote student engagement through inclusive and culturally responsive practice

  • Maintain high standards of student safety, wellbeing, and classroom conduct

  • Work collaboratively with language and pastoral teams to enhance student learning

  • Contribute to school events, community activities, and faith-based initiatives
     

Requirements

  • Current or eligibility for VIT registration

  • Full Australian work rights

  • Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
