About the Position

This full-time, ongoing role commencing Term 1, 2026, involves teaching Science and Technology across Years 7–10. The ideal teacher will bring enthusiasm for hands-on, inquiry-based learning and a passion for helping students explore how science and technology shape the world God created.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Teach Science and Technology across Years 7–10 using engaging, practical, and curriculum-aligned methods

  • Integrate faith and learning to reflect the school’s Christian values and mission

  • Inspire curiosity and innovation through experiments, design projects, and digital technologies

  • Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and respect

  • Contribute to faculty initiatives and the wider spiritual and community life of the school

Requirements

  • Must be a committed Christian and able to provide a pastoral reference

  • Registration: Current or eligible for VIT registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
