About the Position
The school is seeking a Secondary Science Teacher with the ability to teach VCE Physics, commencing Term 1, 2026. This permanent ongoing role features a later teaching timetable, offering time for preparation and planning in the mornings.
Teaching schedule:- Workday: 9:30am – 5:15pm
- Classes begin: 12:45pm
- Morning sessions: Planning, preparation, and collaboration
Skills and Responsibilities

Teach Science across secondary levels, including VCE Physics

Deliver engaging and practical lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking

Use morning preparation time to plan collaboratively and develop resources

Build positive and respectful relationships with students and families

Contribute to co-curricular and enrichment activities within the school community
Requirements
- Registration: Current VIT registration (or eligibility)
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia
- Safeguarding: Two current referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding process
