About the Position

This full-time, ongoing role involves teaching Science to Years 7–10, delivering engaging, practical, and inquiry-based lessons that support students in developing strong foundational scientific understanding. The successful teacher will create a positive and structured classroom environment, contribute to the school’s Christian ethos, and collaborate closely with colleagues to support student learning and wellbeing.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver curriculum-aligned Science lessons for Years 7–10.

  • Ensure student safety and wellbeing in line with safeguarding expectations.

  • Communicate clearly with students, families, and colleagues to support learning progress.

  • Collaborate within the Science team to develop engaging programs and assessments.

  • Demonstrate leadership in the classroom and model the school’s Christian values.


Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
