About the Position
This role involves teaching Science within the secondary years on a part-time basis, three days per week, commencing Term 2, 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons, support student achievement and wellbeing, and contribute to a collaborative and values-driven faculty. The position suits a teacher who is adaptable, organised, and committed to high-quality teaching within a faith-based setting.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality Science curriculum aligned with the Australian Curriculum and relevant senior syllabuses
  • Uphold safeguarding practices and support student wellbeing
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
  • Collaborate with faculty to support planning, assessment, and moderation
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community and team culture

Requirements

  • Registration: Must hold or be eligible for QCT registration
  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia
  • Safeguarding: Provide two referees and complete compliance checks
  • Must be a practising Christian and able to provide a pastoral reference
