About the Position
This full-time secondary Science teaching role is available for either a Term 2 or Term 3 commencement depending on candidate availability. The school is flexible regarding year levels and teaching allocations, with final timetables tailored around teacher strengths and experience during the interview process. The successful teacher will join a collaborative faculty focused on delivering engaging learning experiences while maintaining a balanced and positive working environment for both staff and students.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
- Maintain strong safeguarding practices and actively support student wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding learning progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, ideas and best practice
- Contribute positively to the wider school community and support a healthy learning environment
Requirements
Registration: Must hold or be eligible for VIT teacher registration
Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia
Safeguarding: Ability to provide up-to-date referees, current employment history and complete safeguarding requirements
