About the Position
A full-time opportunity is available for a Science Teacher with the ability to teach junior and senior Science, including Physics and Chemistry. The successful educator will deliver engaging and academically rigorous lessons while supporting students across a range of abilities and learning needs. The role suits a teacher who is passionate about Science education, committed to Christian education, and eager to contribute positively to a collaborative faculty and wider school community.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver an engaging Science curriculum across junior and senior secondary levels
- Teach Physics and Chemistry within senior secondary classes
- Maintain strong classroom management and student well-being practices
- Build positive communication with students, families, and colleagues
- Contribute actively to the Christian life and the broader community of the school
Requirements
- Current NESA registration or ability to obtain
- Full Australian working rights
- Experience teaching secondary Science, including Physics and Chemistry
- Active involvement in a Christian church community
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and student wellbeing practices
