About the PositionThis full-time permanent position is available for a Science Teacher commencing in Term 3 or Term 4, 2026 . The successful teacher will teach Science across junior and senior secondary year levels, including Physics and Chemistry. The role would suit an educator with strong Science subject knowledge who can deliver engaging and academically rigorous lessons, support students across different learning needs and contribute positively to the wider Christian school community.
Skills and Responsibilities-
Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across junior and senior secondary year levels, including Physics and Chemistry.

Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing and classroom practice.

Communicate clearly with students, families and colleagues regarding learning, assessment and student progress.

Collaborate with Science colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment and the delivery of senior courses.

Provide effective classroom leadership and contribute actively to the Christian and broader co-curricular life of the school.

Science Experience: Applicants must have the ability to teach secondary Science, including Physics and Chemistry.

Faith Alignment: Applicants must be actively involved in a Christian church community and demonstrate alignment with the school's Christian ethos.

Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain accreditation with NESA.

Work Rights: Full Australian working rights are essential for this role.

Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE's onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
