About the Position
The school is seeking a Secondary Science Teacher to join on a full-time ongoing basis commencing Term 2, 2026. The role involves delivering engaging Science lessons across the secondary years, supporting students to develop scientific inquiry, critical thinking and practical skills. The successful teacher will contribute to curriculum development and work collaboratively within a supportive faculty.
Skills and Responsibilities
• Deliver Science curriculum in line with the Victorian Curriculum
• Uphold safeguarding practices and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding progress and outcomes
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum and improve student learning
• Contribute positively to faculty initiatives and the wider school community
Requirements
Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT registration.
Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
