About the Position

The school is seeking a Secondary Science Teacher to join the team on a full-time, ongoing basis commencing Term 1 or Term 2, 2026. The role involves:

  • Teaching Science (Y7-9), Environmental Science (7-9) and Biology (Y11) 

  • Contributing to a collaborative and values-driven secondary faculty

This opportunity would suit an educator who is passionate about engaging students in scientific inquiry and contributing to a dynamic school community.


Skills and Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Science programs aligned with the QLD curriculum

  • Maintain strong safeguarding practices and prioritise student wellbeing

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues

  • Collaborate with faculty to support curriculum planning and continuous improvement

  • Contribute to the broader school community, including pastoral and co-curricular involvement


Requirements
  • Registration: Hold or be eligible for Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia

  • Safeguarding: Provide two professional referees and complete HARKE’s compliance process
