About the Role
This full-time position, commencing as soon as possible, involves teaching Science across Years 7–12. The role includes delivering engaging and rigorous programs aligned to the ACT curriculum, with the ability to teach junior and senior Science. The successful teacher will contribute to a cohesive faculty focused on academic achievement, practical investigation, and developing students’ critical thinking skills.
Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver curriculum-aligned Science programs across Years 7–12

Maintain a safe and well-managed laboratory and classroom environment

Use assessment data to inform planning and differentiate learning

Communicate clearly with parents and caregivers regarding progress and outcomes

Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to faculty and whole-school initiatives
Requirements

Registration with, or eligibility for, the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI)

Full Australian working rights

Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
