This full-time, permanent position is suited to a qualified Science teacher with a specialisation in either Physics or Chemistry, confident in teaching to Year 11 and 12. The role is available to commence in Term 2 or Term 3, with flexibility to support the right teacher’s transition. You’ll be part of a collaborative Science department that values innovation, critical thinking, and a love of scientific inquiry.
Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Science lessons, with a focus on Physics or Chemistry in Stage 6

Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom, ensuring student wellbeing and safeguarding

Communicate clearly with students, families, and colleagues to support learning outcomes

Collaborate within the Science faculty to develop resources, assessments, and teaching strategies

Lead and inspire students through passionate subject delivery and academic mentorship

Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NESA accreditation.
