About the Position
The school is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic  Science Teacher  with a specialisation in  Chemistry or Physics  to join their team from  Term 3, 2025 . The role involves teaching junior Science as well as senior classes in the teacher’s area of strength. This is a fantastic opportunity for a subject specialist to make a meaningful impact in a well-supported, future-focused school environment.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons in Chemistry or Physics

  • Teach Science across Years 7–10, with potential for senior classes

  • Build positive relationships with students and foster a love of learning

  • Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback

  • Collaborate with the Science faculty to support strong learning outcomes

Requirements
  • Registration:  Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain QLD Teacher Registration (QCT)

  • Work Rights:  Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding:  Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
