About the Position
This role involves teaching Science across Years 7 to 10 within a well-established secondary faculty. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and structured lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum, fostering curiosity and critical thinking in the classroom. There is an opportunity to contribute to broader school life, including co-curricular programs, and to work closely with a supportive and experienced team.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned Science lessons across Years 7–10
  • Uphold safeguarding and student wellbeing practices in all aspects of teaching
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
  • Collaborate with faculty members to support consistent teaching and learning practices
  • Contribute to faculty initiatives and demonstrate leadership within the classroom

Requirements

  • Registration: Must hold or be eligible for QCT registration
  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia
  • Safeguarding: Provide two professional referees and complete required compliance checks
