About the Position
This full-time, ongoing position involves teaching Science across Years 7–12, including senior Science subjects in Years 11 and 12. The school is open to teachers with a specialisation in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology, with senior Science experience being the key focus of the role. The teaching load will also include Mathematics for Years 7–10. This opportunity suits an educator who is passionate about building student engagement, delivering strong academic outcomes, and contributing positively to a collaborative faculty environment.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Science curriculum, including senior Physics, Chemistry, or Biology to Years 11–12
- Teach Mathematics across Years 7–10 aligned with current curriculum requirements
- Maintain a strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Collaborate within the Mathematics and Science faculties to strengthen teaching and learning programs
Requirements
- Relevant teaching qualification
- Current QCT registration or eligibility to obtain
