About the Role

This full-time 12-month contract position involves teaching Junior Mathematics and Junior Science across Years 7-10, commencing ASAP or at the start of Term 2, 2026. The successful teacher will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned programs that build strong numeracy, inquiry, and problem-solving skills. Working within a supportive faculty, the role offers the opportunity to contribute to curriculum planning while supporting students’ academic development and confidence in STEM learning.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Mathematics and Science programs aligned with the NSW curriculum across Years 7-10

• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and safeguarding

• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues regarding learning progress

• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen teaching practice and curriculum development

• Contribute positively to faculty initiatives and the broader school community

• Registration with or eligibility for NESA

• Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding
