About the Position

This full-time, fixed-term position is available for Term 3, covering a staff member on long service leave. The successful candidate will teach:

  • 2 x Year 7 Science

  • 1 x Year 11 General Maths (Units 1 & 2)

  • 1 x Year 12 General Maths (Units 3 & 4)

The role includes a structured induction day during the Term 2 holidays, led by the Campus Principal. Staff will also attend All Staff Professional Development on 21 July 2025.


Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in Science and General Mathematics

  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive classroom environment

  • Maintain high expectations for student learning and behaviour

  • Work closely with faculty to ensure continuity and excellence in student outcomes


Requirements

  • Registration: Current VIT registration is essential

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are required

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding standards
