About the Position

The school is seeking enthusiastic Science & Chemistry Teachers to deliver engaging curriculum across the secondary years, including senior Chemistry. These full-time roles are available as ongoing or fixed-term contracts commencing Term 2, 2026. The successful candidates will foster scientific inquiry, analytical thinking and practical laboratory skills, while contributing to the continued development of the Science faculty.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver the Science curriculum, including senior Chemistry, in alignment with QCAA requirements
• Uphold safeguarding practices and promote a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding learning and progress
• Collaborate with faculty members to plan curriculum and enhance student outcomes
• Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement within the Science faculty

Requirements

Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain QLD Teacher Registration.

Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
