About the Position
This full-time, ongoing position involves teaching Science to Years 7–10 and specialising in Biology for Years 11–12. The successful candidate will be confident delivering senior Biology curriculum and contributing to a dynamic and engaging Science faculty. The role suits a teacher who is passionate about fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and strong academic outcomes.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Science and senior Biology curriculum aligned with current syllabus requirements
- Maintain a strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Collaborate within the Science faculty to plan and enhance teaching programs
- Contribute to faculty initiatives and demonstrate leadership within the classroom
Requirements
- Relevant teaching qualification
- Current QCT registration or eligibility to obtain
- Full working rights in Australia
- Ability to provide professional references and meet safeguarding requirements
