About the Position
The school is seeking a Religious Education teacher to join the team on a 12-month leave cover contract. This is a full-time, classroom-based role that includes a homeroom and teaching Religious Education across Years 7, 8, and 9. The position suits an educator who is confident delivering RE programs within a Catholic context and enjoys contributing to the pastoral life of the school community.
Skills and Responsibilities
Curriculum: Deliver curriculum-aligned Religious Education programs across Years 7–9
Safeguarding: Uphold Child Safe Standards and support student wellbeing
Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with students, staff, and families
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to support consistency in RE and pastoral programs
Leadership: Model professional practice and uphold the values and ethos of the school community
Requirements
Registration: Current VIT registration
Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia
Safeguarding: Ability to provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s safeguarding process
