About the Position
The school is seeking a Religious Education and Humanities Teacher to commence immediately, teaching full-time from September until the end of the 2025 school year. The load includes Religious Education classes across secondary levels and one Year 8 Humanities class. For the right candidate, there is potential for the contract to extend into 2026.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Teach Religious Education and Year 8 Humanities, aligned with the Victorian Curriculum

  • Create engaging, student-centred learning experiences

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and assessment

  • Contribute to the broader school community through pastoral and co-curricular involvement

Requirements
  • Registration: Must hold or be eligible for VIT registration

  • Accreditation: Accreditation to teach Religious Education in Catholic schools (or working towards)

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia

  • Safeguarding: Provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process
