About the Role
This full-time, ongoing Religious Education Teacher position will commence in Term 1, 2027. The successful teacher will deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Religious Education programs and contribute positively to the Catholic identity and values of the school. Accreditation to teach Religious Education is not required, making this an opportunity for teachers interested in developing their experience within a Catholic setting. Candidates with a second teaching method or subject area are also encouraged to apply, with the teaching load able to incorporate their additional strengths.
Skills and Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Religious Education lessons that support student learning and development.

Maintain high standards of student safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive classroom practice.

Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding learning, assessment and student progress.

Collaborate with colleagues across Religious Education and a second teaching method to support curriculum delivery and shared practice.

Contribute positively to the school's Catholic ethos, pastoral programs and broader school community.
Requirements

Current VIT registration or eligibility for registration

Relevant teaching qualifications, with Religious Education accreditation not required
