About the Position
This full-time, ongoing role commencing in Term 3 involves providing psychological services to students from Kindergarten to Year 12. The successful candidate will support student wellbeing through assessments, tailored interventions, and collaboration with staff and families. This is a key role in fostering mental health, resilience, and emotional development across the school community. The position may require flexibility to work across two campuses.
Skills and Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based psychological services to K–12 students

Conduct assessments and develop strategies for students with learning, behavioural, and emotional needs

Collaborate with teachers and leadership on student learning and wellbeing plans

Deliver workshops and presentations for students, staff, and families on mental health and resilience

Support crisis intervention and contribute to a safe and nurturing school environment

Promote the school’s Christian values and contribute to a Christ-centred school culture
Requirements
- Registration: Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements

Demonstrated experience working with children and adolescents, preferably within a school setting

Strong understanding of child development, learning difficulties, and mental health challenges
