About the Position

The school is seeking a Product Design (Wood) teacher to provide long-term cover for an eight-week period from 20 April to 12 June 2026. This is a classroom-based role delivering Product Design (Woodwork) programs across the secondary years. The role suits an educator who can step into an established program, manage workshop environments confidently, and maintain continuity of learning.

Skills and Responsibilities

Curriculum: Deliver curriculum-aligned Product Design (Wood) programs

Safeguarding: Uphold Child Safe Standards and ensure safe workshop practices

Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally with students, staff, and families

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to support continuity of learning

Leadership: Model professional practice and uphold the values of the school community

Requirements

Registration: Current VIT registration

Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia

Safeguarding: Ability to provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s safeguarding process
