About the Position
This role involves teaching Product Design with a strong focus on woodwork and metalwork. The College’s modern specialist workshops provide the ideal environment for hands-on, design-based learning. The position suits a teacher committed to practical STEM learning, student engagement, and contributing to a vibrant co-curricular program (up to 10 Saturday or after-school commitments, recognised through significant additional leave).
Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, curriculum-aligned Product Design lessons with a focus on timber and metal.

Prioritise student safety and wellbeing, particularly in workshop environments.

Communicate effectively with students, colleagues and families.

Requirements
- Registration: VIT registration or eligibility.
- Work Rights: Full Australian working rights are essential.
- Safeguarding: Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding.
