Additional Allowance: Remote Category 3 allowance + FOILs + housing

About the School
HARKE is working with a remote Northern Territory Department of Education school located approximately 5.5 hours west of Alice Springs. The final section of the journey involves direct road access. The school serves a small and close-knit Indigenous community and provides a peaceful, safe, and highly rewarding teaching environment. With just 4–5 teaching staff, it offers a unique opportunity to engage deeply in a supportive team culture and to contribute to holistic, community-focused education.

About the Position
The school is seeking a flexible and relational Transition–Year 1 Teacher to begin in Term 3, 2025. This role is suited to a primary-trained teacher who thrives in a multi-age classroom and is eager to work in a culturally rich remote context. The position is initially offered as a 12-month full-time contract, with the potential for extension.

Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NT Teacher Registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role
