About the Position

This full-time ongoing position will commence in Term 3, 2026, teaching a Year 4 class. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and purposeful learning experiences while supporting the academic, social and spiritual development of students. This opportunity would suit a committed Christian educator who values strong relationships, collaborative practice and contributing positively to a thriving school community.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver the Year 4 curriculum in alignment with Victorian Curriculum requirements
• Uphold safeguarding practices and maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding student progress and wellbeing
• Collaborate with teaching teams to plan engaging learning experiences and support positive student outcomes
• Demonstrate leadership through active participation in the school’s Christian community and values

Requirements

• Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT Teacher Registration.
• Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
• Faith Requirement: Applicants must be practising Christians and able to support the Christian ethos and values of the school.
• Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
