Salary Range:$85,000–$125,000 plus super
Type of School: Catholic K–12 College
Contract Type: Full-time, ongoing
Start: Term 1, 2026 (or earlier by negotiation)

About the Position
We are seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to inspire and support Year 1–2 students (ages 7–8) in their foundational years. This role offers the chance to nurture curiosity, develop essential literacy and numeracy skills, and foster a love of learning in a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum for Years 1–2.

  • Support students’ literacy and numeracy development through evidence-based practices.

  • Maintain strong relationships with families to support student growth.

  • Foster resilience, independence, and social development in early primary students.

  • Integrate cross-cultural learning, celebrating diversity within the classroom


Requirements

  • Registration:  Eligible for NT Teacher Registration Board.

  • Work Rights:  Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role. Sponsorship possible for candidates already based in Australia*

  • Safeguarding:  Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
