About the Position
This ongoing role focuses on teaching lower primary, ideally Year 1 or Year 2. It suits an educator who is passionate about early years learning, can build strong foundational skills, and create a nurturing and structured classroom environment that supports student development.

Skills and Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum for lower primary students
  • Maintain strong safeguarding practices and support student wellbeing
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure consistent and high-quality learning experiences
  • Demonstrate leadership in the classroom through structured and supportive teaching practices
Requirements
  • Registration with VIT or eligibility to obtain
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Experience teaching lower primary, ideally Year 1 or 2
  • Openness to working within a faith-aligned school environment
  • Ability to provide two referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
