About the Position
This full-time maternity cover position will commence in Term 2, 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging primary curriculum while supporting the academic, social and spiritual development of students. The role requires a committed Christian educator who is able to actively support the Christian ethos of the school and contribute positively to the broader school community.
Skills and Responsibilities
• Deliver the primary curriculum in alignment with Victorian curriculum requirements
• Uphold safeguarding practices and maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding student progress
• Collaborate with teaching teams to plan engaging learning experiences and support student outcomes
• Demonstrate leadership through active participation in the school’s Christian community and values
Requirements
Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT Teacher Registration.
Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
Faith Requirement: Applicants must be practising Christians and able to support the Christian ethos and values of the school.
Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
