About the School
HARKE has partnered with a remote school in the NT. The school is a safe, welcoming, and well-resourced learning environment offering a strong sense of purpose and belonging. Under the leadership of an experienced and supportive Principal with a background in regional and remote education, the school is focused on student wellbeing, staff collaboration, and ongoing improvement. Educators benefit from clear routines, consistent behavioural supports, and a strong community of both local and non-community staff.
This 12-month contract position involves teaching a Primary class. You will join a dedicated team of six qualified teachers and 13 local staff members working across teaching, learning support, and leadership development. Clear systems are in place to manage behaviour respectfully and calmly, with access to withdrawal spaces and positive reinforcement. On-site, you’ll also find a preschool and school counsellor, plus experienced colleagues including a literacy lead, cultural/language leader, and restorative practices support.
