About the Position
This full-time permanent role is ideal for a Primary Teacher with a passion for teaching in rural and remote contexts. You will be supported by a team of educators, cultural advisors, and assistant teachers to deliver learning programs that meet the needs of the community. Skills and Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Australian Curriculum in a multi-age Primary classroom (Year 3-4)

  • Adapt lessons to meet individual needs and reflect the local cultural context

  • Foster positive, respectful relationships with students, families, and community members

  • Collaborate with local Indigenous staff to support cultural safety in learning

  • Embrace a team-based approach to wellbeing and behaviour support

Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NT Teacher Registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
