About the Position
This fixed-term role commencing in Term 3 is an exciting opportunity for a Primary STEAM Teacher to inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking across the upper primary years. The school is looking for an educator who brings energy to the classroom, loves hands-on, inquiry-based learning, and is confident integrating science, technology, engineering, the arts, and maths in meaningful and age-appropriate ways.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Teach integrated STEAM lessons with a focus on creativity and problem-solving

  • Develop engaging units aligned with the Australian Curriculum for upper primary

  • Foster a positive, values-rich learning environment that encourages exploration

  • Work collaboratively with the primary team to support cross-curricular planning

  • Incorporate Christian values and school ethos into daily teaching practices

Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
