About the Role
This full-time role involves teaching Art from Foundation to Year 6. The successful teacher will design and deliver creative, skills-based lessons that build artistic confidence, cultural understanding, and imagination. You will join a dedicated team committed to enriching the specialist program and providing meaningful learning opportunities for all students.

Skills and Responsibilities

  • Teach Art across F–6 using structured, curriculum-aligned practice

  • Develop creative projects that build technical skills and visual literacy

  • Foster an inclusive studio environment that supports student wellbeing and engagement

  • Collaborate with colleagues on displays, events, and cross-curricular initiatives

  • Contribute to school programs, community activities, and specialist team planning

Requirements

  • Current or eligibility for VIT registration

  • Full Australian work rights

  • Two professional referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding onboarding
