About the Position

An opportunity has become available for a passionate Physics Teacher to join a collaborative and student-focused secondary team. The successful candidate will inspire curiosity and critical thinking through engaging science education while supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes.

Skills and Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging Physics curriculum aligned with the Queensland senior secondary syllabus.

  • Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and safeguarding.

  • Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues through effective communication.

  • Collaborate with teaching staff to support curriculum planning, assessment, and continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to faculty initiatives and demonstrate leadership within the classroom and broader school community.

Requirements
  • Hold current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration or be eligible to obtain registration.

  • Demonstrated experience teaching Physics in a secondary setting.

  • Full working rights in Australia.

  • Ability to provide professional references and complete all safeguarding requirements.
