About the Position

The school is seeking a passionate Physics Teacher to begin in Term 1, 2026. The role will involve teaching Physics across Years 10 to 12 while also contributing to junior Science programs. The successful applicant will deliver curriculum-aligned lessons, inspire curiosity in scientific inquiry, and support students in developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also contribute to co-curricular STEM opportunities and foster engagement in the sciences across the school.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Teach Physics at senior level and general Science at junior levels

• Build a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues

• Collaborate with teaching teams to design and deliver innovative Science programs

• Contribute to school initiatives and co-curricular activities that promote STEM engagement

Requirements

• Registration: Current NT Teacher Registration (TRB) or eligibility to obtain

• Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia

• Safeguarding: Two current referees and completion of HARKE’s safeguarding process
