About the Position
This full-time, ongoing role involves teaching Performing Arts across the secondary years, alongside Junior Music classes. The successful educator will join a collaborative and well-resourced faculty that encourages creative teaching approaches and active involvement in productions, performances, and co-curricular programs. The position would suit a teacher passionate about fostering student engagement through practical and performance-based learning.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging Performing Arts and Junior Music lessons aligned with the NSW curriculum
- Support student wellbeing and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Collaborate within the Arts faculty and contribute to productions and performances
- Participate in co-curricular and wider school community activities
Requirements
- Current or eligible NESA teacher accreditation
- Full Australian working rights
- Two professional referees
- Completion of HARKE safeguarding onboarding requirements
