About the Position

This full-time, ongoing position, commencing in Term 1, 2026, will see the successful candidate teaching VCE Physical Education in the Senior School, with additional responsibilities in Middle School Physical Education and Wellbeing. You will be joining a passionate and professional team, contributing to the school community through high-quality teaching, curriculum development, and a strong focus on student wellbeing.

Skills and Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and rigorous VCE Physical Education lessons, alongside Middle School Physical Education and Wellbeing programs.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of the VCE Physical Education curriculum and effective differentiation strategies.

  • Create a productive and supportive classroom environment that fosters engagement, creativity, and high standards.

  • Prepare curriculum documentation, lesson plans, and assessments in line with VCAA/VCE guidelines.

  • Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and maintain open communication with parents.

  • Participate actively in the co-curricular life of the school, including sports events, camps, and assemblies.

  • Support the school’s child safety culture and wellbeing initiatives.

Requirements
  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
