About the School

HARKE Recruitment is partnering with a Catholic secondary school in remote North-West Queensland, known for its strong pastoral care, academic focus, and close-knit community. The school serves students from Years 7–12 and offers a supportive environment for both early-career and experienced teachers who are open to embracing regional education.


About the Position

The school is seeking a qualified HPE Teacher to commence in Term 3, 2025. The role will primarily involve teaching Health and Physical Education across Years 7–10, with some flexibility to support broader year levels depending on the successful candidate’s experience and interests.

Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain QLD Teacher Registration (QCT)

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
