About the Position This full-time, fixed term position commencing in Term 1, 2025 involves teaching Health and Physical Education across all year levels from Year 7 to Year 12. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering curriculum-aligned lessons that promote physical wellbeing, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle choices. Skills and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver HPE lessons aligned to the curriculum for Years 7–12

  • Promote student safety and wellbeing, maintaining high standards of safeguarding practices

  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to build positive relationships

  • Collaborate with staff on school-wide sporting and health initiatives

  • Lead by example in modelling healthy lifestyles and positive behaviour

Requirements

  • Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditation and NSW Working with Children Check

  • Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

  • Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
